Sherisse is a Clinical Psychologist that has been in private practice since 2005. Offering a supportive and non-judgemental space. Her objective is to support you to develop new insight and skills and to overcome difficulties and live life more fully.
Having worked in different mental health settings, such as The Sydney Clinic ( mood and anxiety unit) Jewishcare, Recovre Psych Services and the corporate sector, Sherisse has a depth of experience across a broad range of psychological issues and therapeutic approaches. Always constantly searching out the latest research and get excited exploring innovative ways to achieve optimal and long lasting results with her clients.
Sherisse has had good success treating clients with a range of issues and disorders including stress, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, emotional instability, self esteem , assertiveness and communication issues, eating disorders,body image issues, self harm behaviours, relationship and parenting problems or difficulties relating to work/studies or career. I have a special interest in emotional dysregulation, compulsive overeating, binge eating and bulimia.
Sherisse trained at The University of the Witwatersrand (WITS) and The University of South Africa (UNISA). Completing an internship at The Sydney Clinic, which is a well known private psychiatric hospital in Bronte. She is a member of the national body representing psychologists in Australia (The Australian Psychological Society) and is registered with the NSW Psychologists Registration Board.
