• Graduated from the University of New South Wales • Obtained Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2001 • Worked overseas for 2 years as the in-house doctor treating students and staff at a major university in Hong Kong (HKUST) • Main areas of interest include Family Planning, Women's Health and Paediatrics • Is fluent in both English and Cantonese • Bulk Bills all Children and pension card holders • Is certified by the Prince of Wales hospital to provide compulsory shared care to all expectant mothers going to the Prince of Wales hospital • Graduated from the University of Tasmania • Worked in hospitals in Western Australia as well as some time up north in Aboriginal Medical Centres • Trained in Anaesthetics in the UK • Worked in general practice in England and in Germany for the British Army • Medical Educator to the University of Tasmania - rural clinical school as well as GP education • Travelled extensively in Europe, Asia, United States and the South Pacific and has an interest in third world health • Debra has three children and her main interests at present are sailing, travel , live music and languages.
